First speaking with my writing, since I refer to and annotate some academic
articles, so the whole essay organized more structural than before, like the
idea of DMIS’s six stages and how it works on International communication. This
improvement makes my essay seems more authentic and reliable. Another problem
is my word choose. I am not very good at using appropriate and suitable words
to express my thought. In the whole annotation, it’s easy to find same words
used in an internal of three sentence, so I really need to learn more words and
know how to use it in the right place. Moreover, nowadays, visual ads become
more and more necessary, since it impresses people easily and can give color
and energy to essay. Thus, I will also put some relevant pictures into my issue
paper and it will better be more interesting.
Speaking to my content, the only problem lies in the solution of my issue paper. In fact, there are very less information of how to get training about intercultural communication. There’re only point of disabilities of communication, which is language, non-verbal language, communication style and the value and assumption. To come to a conclusion, teacher suggests me that I make a manual of this training. Although It is only an initial arrangement and not too touch the detail, I still don’t know how to proceed on. Then, I decide follow the tips of the master thesis written by Taketani(the one I refer to). He has already order a list of disabilities that volunteers will meet when encountering different culture, so I can start by how to solve these particular problems and add my opinions into it. And also, I would like to point out some serious drawbacks that some volunteer organizations have. Because nowadays except the volunteers group conducted by government, most of these organizations runs in private. To know where the money are from and leave to where are unknown for whole society. More worse, there’s maybe some organizations who pretend to be a volunteer route but in fact exploiting local developing areas. Volunteers, organization and local people are three crucial part of serving aids. They should runs in long-term and mutual-trusting relationship.
